Richard is a much sought after guest lecturer, and has spoken and run workshops and seminars for numerous institutions and organizations including the University of Toronto, and CCH Ltd. He is a co-author of “Wealth Creation for the Salaried Executive” (CCH Ltd.). This book is a Canadian guide to executive and managerial compensation and tax planning.  He is also a co-author of “The T.A.S.K. – The Trusted Advisor’s Survival Kit“.

Mr. Segal was a regular weekly guest on Closing Bell seen on City TV’s Cable Pulse24, responding to the market commentary and other financial news of interest. In addition, he has been a regular guest on CHFI Radio’s Money Talks, TV Ontario’s Small Business program, Rogers Cable financial planning series, and was a guest on a live national financial planning Question and Answer forum held on Global TV.

Richard was born in South Africa and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa in 1977, he immigrated to Canada where he continued his career, as an Exit Planning Consultant in Toronto.  Richard is recognized as a leader in the financial community and holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner designation with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, as well as the Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Life Underwriter designations.  Richard is a past director of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners and is a past president of the Toronto chapter of Chartered Life Underwriters.
